Since its establishment, Mount Ridley P ā 12 College (MRC) has experienced extraordinary demand for student places, receiving more student enrolment applications than it has the capacity to enrol. The Department of Education (DE) has implemented a student enrolment management plan to support schools.
Where there are insufficient places at a school for all students who seek entry, DE has established set criteria under its state-wide Placement Policy. As such, MRC utilises the following principles in order of precedence when enrolling students:
Students whose primary residence is within the school zone are guaranteed a place at our College. To find out whether you live in the zone, visit findmyschool.vic.gov.au
All other applications will be considered subject to available space, and prioritised according to:
- Students with a sibling at the same permanent address who are attending the school at the same time
- All other students in order of closeness of their home to the school.
